Dr Harry Aiking is an Emeritus Professor of the Institute for Environmental Studies at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He holds a MSc degree in Biochemistry and a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Amsterdam. He received the “Green Protein Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2019 for more than 25 years of research and publications in the area of sustainable food production and consumption.
