#plantbasediet: nudging and educating adolescents towards plantbased food choices

The current study has two primary objectives.

  1. to estimate whether a digital ‘social proof’ nudge using Instagram combined with an interactive education program increases adolescents’ plantbased food choice in an online supermarket more than a nudge alone.
  2. to explore whether intervention effects are moderated by socioeconomic status (SES), impulsivity, and individual differences in concern for the environment.
