ALPRO FOUNDATION AWARD FOR MASTERS
This Award for MSc students was launched for the first time in 2008 in five countries, namely Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, United Kingdom & Ireland.
The Alpro Foundation Award for Masters is given in recognition of an outstanding thesis regarding Food and Nutrition and its impact on human health and the environment.
The topic of the thesis must be relevant for the European population and has to be in line with the mission of Alpro Foundation (ie. research in the field of nutrition and health with a focus on plant-based nutrition and a special interest in soya).
Keywords of the MSc project: pulses, beans, soya, pea, lupin, vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts, seeds, grains, bioactive plant compounds, polyphenols, isoflavones, phytosterols, lignans, flavonoids, fibers, plant protein, vegetable fats, vitamins, minerals, macronutrients, micronutrients, obesity, cardiovascular health, cancer, nutrition behaviour, food recommendations, taste perception, satiety, sustainability, eco-nutrition, environmental impact of food, food security, climate change, land use, food waste, ....
Each winner per country receives a generous award amounting to € 2,500 in recognition for their outstanding thesis.
We continue with this succesfull award. Annual submission deadline is October 31, with the exception of UK with deadline of December 31. MSc students who graduated since last October and whom dedicated their thesis to Plant-based Nutrition and impact on health can submit their thesis.
