Prof. Dr. Nathalie Delzenne, l'Université catholique de Louvain (chair)
Nathalie Delzenne is professor in Nutrition and Biochemistry, and is the leader of the research group in Experimental Nutrition in the Unit of Pharmacokinetics, Metabolism, Nutrition and Toxicology of the Université catholique de Louvain.
She is involved in international projects and scientific committees (including International Life Sciences Institute), and is an editor and reviewer for several international journals (Current Opinion in Clinical Nutrition and Metabolic Care, British Journal of Nutrition…). She is also a member of the Scientific Board of the European Academy of Nutritional Science.
Prof. Dr. Guy De Backer, Ghent University
Guy De Backer is professor and head of the Department Public Health at the University of Ghent. He is cardiologist and epidemiologist. He was one of the main researchers of the first Belgian Food Consumption Survey. He is the chair of the Superior Health Council in Belgium.
Dr. André Franck, General Practitionar, Antwerp
Prof. Dr. Greet Vansant, University of Leuven
Greet Vansant is Professor of Nutrition and Health within the Department of Public health, Faculty of Medicine, Catholic University Leuven. Main research topics are obesity, lipids, cancer, public health concerns, physical activity and prevention. She is member of several advisory boards, eg. Superior Health Council Belgium, Nutrients Belgium (Nubel) and expert within working groups at the European level.
