AWARD FOR BACHELORS
Alpro Foundation presents a yearly Award for Belgian Bacherlor students who prepare a thesis on the subject of plant-based nutrition and health.
Each Belgian Bacherlor student in Nutrition and Dietetics can submit his/her thesis.
The student who scoops the award will receive a prize worth € 1,250 and an official certificate as an award for his/her thesis.
Bachelors students graduating in 2012 can sent their recent thesis by September 30, 2012 to alprofoundation@alpro.be
AWARD FOR MASTERS
If you recently graduated as a Master and wrote a thesis related to Nutrition and Health you can win €2500 with the Alpro Foundation Award.
The topic of the thesis must be relevant for the European population and has to be in line with the mission of Alpro Foundation.
The mission of the Alpro foundation is to support and promote scientific knowledge and research in the field of nutrition and health with a focus on plant-based nutrition and a special interest in soya.
Keywords of your MSc project: plant-based eating, vegetables, fruits, pulses, beans, lupine, soya, nuts, seeds, grains, meat replacers, bioactive plant compounds (polyphenols, isoflavones, phytosterols, lignans, …), fibres, plant protein, vegetable fats, vitamins, minerals, macronutrients, micronutrients, sustainability, eco-nutrition, environmental impact of food, food security, climate change, land and water use, food waste, obesity, cardiovascular health, cancer, nutrition behaviour, food recommendations, taste perception, satiety, .....
MSc students who graduated in the past year (since November 1, 2011) with a dissertation dedicated to one of these topics, can submit their thesis until online http://www.alprofoundation.org/awards/masters/
Annual submission deadline is October 31, with the exception of UK with deadline of December 31.
