International Congress on Obesity (Stockholm)

The International Congress on Obesity (ICO) is held every four years. The 11th ICO will be held from July 11-15th 2010 in Stockholm, Sweden. The congress expects to attract approximately 3000 international delegates who are experts and opinion leaders in the field of obesity and its related conditions. Delegates cover a wide range of professions including, clinicians, scientists, allied health professionals working in the field of obesity research and education, opinion leaders and advocacy groups, health related organisations, governments, policy makers, representatives of UN Bodies and the international community.

ICO2010 will address obesity and its related disorders, which include diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease.

Dr Alex Johnstone (holder of an Alpro Foundation Research Grant) will present her work at this conference.
